Dr. S. MAHENDRAN, M.E., Ph.D., is Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Shere Sathyam College of Engineering and Technology, Sankari, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. He graduated with a B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from VMKV Engineering College, Salem in the year 2003. Further, he completed his M.E. degree in Power Electronics and Drives from K S Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode in the year 2009. He obtained his Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai, in the specialization in Power Electronics in the year 2017. He is also a recognized supervisor of Anna University, Chennai under the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. He started his academic career in the year 2005 in the EEE department at Sasurie College of Engineering, Vijayamangalam. He has 20 years of teaching experience from various Engineering Colleges, such as K S Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode, Er. Perumal Manimekalai College of Engineering, Hosur. Etc., He taught engineering subjects under various titles to more than 1000 engineering students. He has received grants from the Institution of Engineers (India) to conduct the workshop. He has published more than 15 papers in reputed International and National journals, and presented more than 10 papers at various National and International conferences. He has filed 3 patents and is the author of two books. He has worked as a coordinator for various committees such as NAAC, NBA and Autonomous. He has actively participated in various FDPs, Seminars, Project Expos, National Level Technical Symposiums, etc., At the outset, he is the strength of our institution, and he is capable of handling any critical situation with his experience.
